Organisations

An organisation is an estate agency business in Loop. It's the top-level grouping that owns one or more teams — the legal entity or brand, rather than any single branch.

How organisations relate to teams

Every team belongs to exactly one organisation:

A small independent agency is typically one organisation with one team.
A multi-branch agency is one organisation with a team per branch.

Organisation scoped API keys

Usually your API key is scoped to exactly one team, and every request you make sees that team's data and nothing else. You don't filter by team or pass a team ID — the scoping happens automatically from your key.

If you're building for an organisation with several teams, you'll either hold one key per team or have an organisation scoped key.
